On February 4, the first order of the latest generation of premium connection independently developed by HYST was delivered to a major domestic customer. The new premium connection is the third generation of premium connection product of HYST. With its innovative and revolutionary design, it has reached the world-class level in terms of product performance and it represents one of the significant achievements of HYST’s commitment to high quality development and high-end product research and development.

Compared with the first and second generations of premium connection, the third one has reached 100% tensile, internal pressure, external pressure and compression efficiencies those of the pipe body. Another advantage of the third generation of the premium connection is its higher sealing reliability and stability, enabling it to meet the application requirements of extreme working conditions and various complex environments, such as high temperature and high pressure well and offshore deep-water oil & gas well. Thanks to its new structure design and wonderful operation performance, it can effectively prevent damage and leaking caused by bumping during handling, transportation and pipe running. Meanwhile, it has relatively looser requirement for the amount of thread compound applied and broader range of make-up torque, so that it can ensure the sealing robustness even in the case of rough operation.
